about the host, William Malcolm

William Malcolm is the creative director of William Malcolm Luxe Collection, a classic menswear fashion label. The brand brings an unparalleled approach to men’s suiting.

In a short time, the Detroit-based luxury brand has received national recognition. Most recently, the band was tapped by Lincoln Motor Company. To create a menswear collection inspired by Lincoln Continental. William has served as a style ambassador for The Fox 2 Morning Show. William was named the national men’s style contributor for Monarch Magazine.

William is very involved in causes for positive change. He founded his nonprofit entity, Fashion Means Nothing- The William Malcolm Foundation. He continues to impact the lives of others through his many community initiatives. Including his work with the Dream Kings, a male mentor program & Suited To Speak, a youth public speaking initiative. Each week, William hosts The William Malcolm Morning Show, a positive weekly radio program that can be heard on FM 92.7 WLQV Radio.

William is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. He was awarded a 2010 Detroit Chamber of Commerce Fusion Award, a 2010 Vanguard Award, and a 2012 Molina Community Champions Award. He was also awarded a 2013 Black Male Engagement Award. A 2015 Spirit Of Detroit Award. A 2018 Black Enterprise Magazine, Modern Man. He was recently named a Michigan Chronicle Man Of Excellence.
